Why should I use SMS4PC?

Our SMS text messaging service is used by thousands of companies in Sweden and throughout Europe for offices or computers to communicate with different mobile phones. You can send both national and international SMS and reach recipients all over the world.

The use cases are endless such as: work order or changes in work orders, project updates, recruitment, etc.

Delivery reports

When you send SMS text messages from SMS4PC you can always follow up and ensure that recipients actually received the text messages you sent to the recipients. You do this simply by using the delivery reports where you can easily see the delivery status of each recipient.

In doing so you can easily see that all recipients have actually received your message and if any such phone is off or you use an invalid number, you can contact them with an alternative means of contact.

For many of our corporate customers, it is up to the possibility or delivery report an extremely important feature that gives customers control and security that the message is delivered correctly to recipients.

Import contacts

There are several ways to import mobile phone numbers or contacts (with numbers) into your SMS4PC account. Below we describe some of the options:

1. Add a single contact by clicking “Contacts”, “New Contact” and then enter the name and number in the fields and then click “save”.

2. Import a large list of names and numbers by importing a CSV file into your account. This is a great way where you can export your data and contacts from Excel and other databases to CSV format very easily. Follow these steps to import a CSV list into your account, click “Contacts”, “import contacts” and then browse the correct file on your hard disk. You then select the column name in the “drop-down menus and then press” save “if you want to import the contacts only as contacts. If you also want to create a group in connection with import of contacts/numbers then select the option “group” and select either an existing group, or put a name to a new group to be created in connection with imports.

3. Import Google contacts is possible for you with a Google account. To do this, click on “Import Google contacts” and enter your username and password in the fields presented on the page. We recommend that only import contacts that have cell phone number blank.

For users with large amounts of contacts in some kind of spreadsheet we definitely recommend to use alternative 2, import of CSV contacts.

Create Groups

Groups is an important feature for many of our corporate clients. Below are two ways to create groups: manual way and automatic way.

Manual creation of groups

You simply create a group by clicking on the “contacts”, “new group” and then name the group the name of your choice. Then you can either click on the contacts to be included in the group or start typing the beginning of the contact’s name in the field called “members”.

Automatically create a group in connection with the import of CSV file

After you have browsed to the right CSV file and named your columns, make sure you select “group” at the bottom of the screen and then select an existing group or naming of a new group.

Use templates

Templates are good and templates are easy to use. You probably have different text messages sent out frequently to your contacts that are more or less the same. This can be anything from delivery messages, project updates or other notices that go out quickly to your contacts.

Templates are handled in the “Account”, “Settings”, “ready message” or templates section.
